Just wanted to share my speech during my friend's wedding... it was such a nice wedding... so perfect...

Good Evening Everyone!

For those of you who don¹t know me, I¹m Claire... Cherry’s friend.

Before I forget, Che, I just want to tell you how honored I am today to stand by your side on this special day. On behalf of the bridesmaids and myself I want to say how beautiful and radiant you look, it¹s been a special day for all of us.

When Cherry asked me to be her maid of honor I felt delighted but when she informed me that I would be doing a speech, I admit I got nervous but anyway thank you to whoever invented this rostrum then I can hide my copy.

Cherry and I have been friends for 11 years and have been room mates too when she was still working in Gensan. So I really have a huge library of stories to spill that will surely spice up your ears. Unfortunately, I am not going to tell them here because 

1. we''ve only got this place til midnight and 

2. According to the book of etiquette, states that the maid of honor should NOT, under ANY circumstances, roast the bride.

So I guess, I better give some marriage advice then

1.  Whenever you’re wrong, admit it. Whenever you’re right, just shut up

2. The best way to remember an anniversary is to forget it just once.

3.  If you’re clever, you’ll always have the last word. However, if you’re really clever you won’t use it.

4.  A happy marriage is a matter of giving and taking; the husband gives and the wife takes.

5. A happy wife is a happy life.

And most importantly, this one really works for Cherry personally "No, honey, you do NOT look fat in that outfit!"

And before I get into any trouble, Seriously though, Cherry is a beautiful person inside and out. I’ve had the pleasure of being Cherry’s friend for many years and I will always cherish the wonderful times I’ve spent with her.

Che, I want you to know that you’re like a sister to me and I love you very much. You’ve always been there for me and I hope our friendship only flourishes in the years to come. you are the definition of a true friend and because of you, I gained another beautiful friendship with your "husband" Eric.

The only request that I have to Eric is to make sure that Chery is happy throughout your married life and I am sure that Cherry would take care of you by providing you with the fullest of her love throughout her life.

Congratulations and Best wishes. May your love be modern enough to survive the times, old fashion enough to last forever.
